I take my work as a college counselor and my responsibility to the families who have put their trust in me very seriously. College counseling is the hardest part of my job, as there is immense emotion involved, my own included.
I care immensely about every student I counsel, and every family that looks to me for guidance. Because of the time I dedicate getting to know each student as individuals – beyond the numbers that go into their GPA, standardized tests, and community service hours.
I believe in each student and recognize their potential far beyond what an admissions committee might. I check in with every one of my students to find out how they did on little quizzes at school. You can imagine how much I care when it comes to college.
